V2 READY
Mutually exclusive Like or Dislike state is enabled only when the live service explicitly advertises social-actions capability v2. Persisted comments use the authenticated Feed route. A missing, malformed, or older capability value fails closed for v2 reactions.

Conversation, vision, and grounded research need the hosted assistant. A configured model is not reported as ready unless the live service says it is.
AVAILABLE AFTER SETUP
After initial account-gated verified speech-pack setup, normal companion speech synthesis and microphone transcription can run on-device. ScrapLink reuses the verified local pack and retrieves a newer one only after a verified pack update. The hosted assistant receives text and selected context; hosted voice remains a separate selectable path. This describes signed-pack capability, not a latency guarantee for every microphone, CPU, or audio device.
SIX-ROUTE QA RETAINED
Retained July 23, 2026 promotion QA records six hosted 24 kHz companion cues verified. Current source and packaged diagnostics map Scrap/echo, Vantrel/cedar, NOVA/ash, Rusty Sentinel/ballad, The Iron Hare/verse, and Sable Flint/ash. This is past qualification and packaged-route evidence, not a fresh six-route provider probe or a guarantee of current availability and playback. A configured service flag alone is not treated as an end-to-end playback or quality test.
IN BUILD 0.43.0
Crew voice is included as an authenticated small-room alpha relay. It is not WebRTC-grade, end-to-end encrypted, or presented as mature production voice.
CONFIGURED
Research tooling still depends on the hosted assistant and reliable sources. It can refuse an answer when evidence is insufficient.
Build 0.43.0, sequence 127, is the checked public alpha. Feature availability and hosted-service readiness are reported separately from installer identity.
